Known Limitations

Tools are built for speed and practicality. This page lists current boundaries so users can apply the right level of review before using output in production workflows.

Parsing and Formatting Limits

• Lite YAML/CSV/XML tools prioritize common patterns and may not support full edge-case specifications.
• HTML/Markdown conversions are pragmatic and may need manual review for complex nested structures.
• Delimiter and table conversions may require validation when quoted multiline cells are present.

Regex and Diff Limits

• Regex behavior follows browser runtime; advanced engine differences can exist compared with server runtimes.
• Basic diff tools optimize for clarity and speed, not full semantic move detection.

AI Rewrite Limits

• AI output may be stylistically inconsistent or factually incomplete without context.
• AI rewrite should be treated as draft output and requires human approval before publishing.

Runtime and Locale Limits

• Some time/locale-dependent outputs can vary by browser locale, timezone, and runtime support.
• Randomized tools and generators are non-deterministic by design.

What We Do About It

• Mark non-deterministic tools with format-based reference policies.
• Publish clear boundary notes in each tool guide.
• Update references and handlers when input models change.
